Mentor Live! Sydney 2 – August 16th, 2011

Startups – come and meet some of the PushStart mentors and book yourself in for 1-on-1 sessions (i.e. 1 startup team per mentor), lasting 15 minutes each, with mentors of your choosing. Details in the link above

EVENT WRAP-UP

Mentor Live! Sydney 2 was a great success with another 130 sessions jammed into a night of fun and education.

We tried a slightly different approach this time: fewer sessions per mentor, a break in the middle of the evening and delicious pizza and drinks for attendees.

These were all changes based directly on feedback from Mentor Live! 1 so it was pleasing to hear that startups and mentors who attended the first Mentor Live! and this one too felt that the changes were a step in the right direction.

John has put a wrap up post of the event on the PushStart blog so check it out and make sure you keep an eye out for our other upcoming events.

We’ve got some good ones in the works!

Mentor Live! Sydney – May 17th, 2011

Startups – come and meet some of the PushStart mentors and book yourself in for 1-on-1 sessions (i.e. 1 startup team per mentor), lasting 15 minutes each, with mentors of your choosing. Details in the link above

EVENT WRAP-UP

Thanks to everyone who attended the first Mentor Live! The event was a great success (we had 133 mentoring sessions!) and we’ll definitely be doing more of these both in Sydney and in other cities where we have enough mentors/startups interested.

On that note, we’ve already started planning for the next one with some changes based on your feedback forms and some of our ideas – so keep an eye out for news on that.

Now, rather than tell you about the event ourselves, we figured it would better to let those people who attended give you a feel for what the event was like. Enjoy.
